As the digital Agency of Record for Dream Hotels, Engine Shop has curated an integrated approach that leveraged a socially-driven creative campaign, combined with influencer marketing that has encouraged the target audience to interact with the brand in a natural way. The strategy was designed to drive room sales and increase awareness through social amplification.
We have monitored our campaigns to see how they drove brand engagement and revenue — specifically, room bookings through the website, social posts and ads.
Influencers were invited to stay at the two NYC Dream Hotels properties in exchange for creating content which included blog posts, Instagram posts, Snapchat takeovers and more. These fashion and lifestyle bloggers helped generate awareness while lending their endorsement. Fans could use influencer-specific promo codes to book rooms, which allowed Dream Hotels to track ROI.
Photography is a powerful social media tool. Engine Shop created a monthly Instagram giveaway, encouraging fans to post original photos or videos using the hashtag #unlockyourdream. Contest winners received a free night’s stay in NYC or Miami, and their photo was printed on all hotel room keys. By changing the theme or call-to-action each month, Dream Hotels garnered continuous brand engagement.
