Before the formation of Engine Shop in January 2012, Ed Kiernan was the Senior Vice President of Sports and Entertainment for Omnicom’s GMR Marketing. At GMR, Kiernan worked across all platforms, including: Corporate Consulting, Sports, Lifestyle, Mobile, Digital and Music. Prior to joining GMR, Ed was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Peter Jacobsen Sports (PJS). Kiernan led the agency’s sports marketing and corporate consulting practice with a focus on overall brand strategy/management for blue chip companies, athlete representation, global event management, and the negotiation of complex multi-level/multi-media contracts for sports and entertainment properties. As Chief Marketing Officer, Kiernan leads program innovation and strategy for key clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Tiffany & Co., Vornado Realty Trust and Nike.
